Tying up loose ends

With the_cynic's and domtheknight's advice, I finally managed to remove both display and specification of my gender from Facebook.

Now the last thing on my profile is gone; it is completely clean \o/

(The only information I have left are who my friends are, and my email address. The latter is unavoidable, the former, mrrrrrrrm I guess can stay).


ETA: Kanji mood theme gives "accomplished" the character for "done". Yep, that's about right.

Christmas Break!

Whoo! I took five of my nine remaining leaves, and so this is my last day of work for this year.

SO EXCITED.

Half the office is already gone, left for their respective provinces and hometowns. I am one of a very few left, ahahhahahahaha.

(Christmas is a huge thing here, pretty much, so most everyone is gone for at least a week -- maybe two :-))

FMA: Brotherhood, Episode 13

There is a guy here, Yoki, who I don't know, but he seems to have met Edward before, and it's the kind of throwaway gag that makes me sure that he's been introduced somehow. Google tells me that he's from the mining arc from the original series, which never showed up in Brotherhood!

Anyway, episode introduces Greed, which was kinda cool. I don't think I ever reached the point in the original anime where he first appeared, so yay new material.

Now if only Brotherhood would stop assuming I am familiar with the original anime... :-)

Phone menus are like CYOA, except you can't cheat

Spent about half an hour going through the different options, trying to figure out how to get a live human being. Eventually I won through (wooohoo!). And now, in case I wake up tomorrow having forgotten, the cheat code is:

up up down down left right left right b a start

1 - (HSBC, not HSBC Banking)
2 - (credit card, not loan applications or whatever)
# - (don't input credit card number)
4 - (other card services -- which didn't have any indication that there would be a person on the line!)
