Posted an entry to LJ that was long overdue

Just got the email telling me that my 1739 public entries on LJ have been made friends-only.

I changed the latest one to be public, and that's it.

I thought I'd be sadder, but I guess I've had plenty of time to get used to the idea. Like most other things in my life (it seems), I'd managed to put it off long past the time it was obvious it needed to be done.

(Long slow breakups that just fade away into nothing, yup that's me.)

(okay, a wee bit of sentimentality: I'm imagining that I just tucked my LJ journal in under covers, closed the lights, and wished it a good night)

I have an old version of Semagic that will friend or make public tons of entries automatically en masse if you ever want to undo it. :)

*g* Thank you (I'm using the built in privacy changer, that works well enough for what I need, but thank you <3)

It's weird how it happens-- you start noticing you don't post as much, then you don't read as much, and then *blip!* it's already as if you've left...

I find myself on Facebook a lot more these days. *shudder*

Yeah *nods* It's a weird thing, when something that used to be so central to your world just starts... losing prominence. And once you notice, do you tell people? Do you just assume they know? Weird either way. Eh!
