It's cool looking, but I don't think I get what it is showing me. I like being out on the edge of the star (at least, that's what it looks like to me) but is that because I don't comment often, or am I physically off to the side or?????

The distance is related to the number of people I have friended that you have also friended. In this case, I think the only mutual friends we have is tinyjo!

Ah - this makes sense! I rarely add friends on lj, so I would probably be on the edge of anyone's chart. I'm just too slow at reading and replying to have too many people to check in on. Been that way my whole life. And then I went and married a poet who reads voraciously and gags everytime he thinks about how little I've read. C'est la vie.
