Jollibee spaghetti

McDonald's spaghetti was originally created to compete against a rival popular Filipino fast-food chain.
I am assuming that chicken with rice has a similar story as well.
PS. McSpaghetti looks roughly the same though I think it has more ground meat and less hotdogs.
Aha, friend commented with a an image of the McDonald's stuff

Date: 2009-02-24 02:01 pm (UTC)Seriously, when I introduced our maids to the way I make spaghetti sauce in the Western style - more beef, tomato sauce and lots of basil - they were agog with wonder. "Ma'am! No hotdog? No Coke? Wow!
*huge grin*
I loved the taste of the early Jollibee burgers. I think they used to add a smidgen of honey to the patties. When they started using the "special sauce" thing in the burgers, I totally disagreed, only because I like those things on the side, not in the sandwich.

Date: 2009-02-27 02:35 pm (UTC)I actually like most fastfood spaghetti, though I don't usually order them except when in Jollibee. :D

Date: 2009-02-28 02:37 am (UTC)It must be the good childhood memories with Jollibee spaghetti. XD Although their cheeseburgers are now kinda bad... (As a kid, I used to always get a cheeseburger and spaghetti at Jollibee :D)
HAHA we're fastfood connoisseurs. XD
