didn't you add a day when you fly to US? so, compensation.

Sort of XD I didn't feel the additional day, because the flight took so much time (like a whole day!)

It's zany really. Reminds me of the time I imagined that if I went counter-clockwise eternally across the planet, faster than the Earth's rotation, you'd actually get younger.

They should just make a single time-line for the world, and rename timezones into something else, like "state of the sun's position relative to this chunk of the earth". It would make it all the better, and ultimately less confusing.

You'd just have to switch the IDL into TGSM (The Great Sun Marker™), and instead of the weird lines that divvy up timezones, just make them straight lines based on latitude.

BAMM, instant no-confusion solution. =D

It's like using the Timeline divisions of the world, except you make them straight lines. Or at least lines around political divisions.

This one is kinda divvied up by countries lang. Bale, one country, one timezone. XD

Not really XD I know that Russia and US (China and Canada as well?) have different timezones within the same country. It depends on the longitude, but there are occasionally kinks in the divisions.
