At 40:19 into Star Trek 2009, I realized that I gain a massive insta-crush on any Asian in Star Trek uniform.

Huge moment of dissonance when I found out it was Sulu, because he looked closer to Chinese than Japanese (though that still didn't look quite right either -- Wikipedia tells me Korean).

Not that it matters! But it was a very cross-eyed headsmacked moment. ("OH, that's Sulu, makes sense I guess.")
