Making myself a Multiply

I've generally tried to avoid social networking sites where I'd be expected to use my real name or post pictures of myself, but apparently I need this to access certain stuff, so k. Besides, Multiply doesn't seem half-bad, at least not compared to what else is out there :-)

(I wonder how long I can keep my multiply and my LJ separate? I hope the answer to that is "a very very long time"!)
