How is Diaspora? I haven't really researched it much and haven't heard any good analysis of it yet.

It is pretty, and clean, and pretty clean! I think I like how frictionless and uncomplicated it feels *G*

So far, not a lot of people, but I have managed to add a couple friends who are on a different pod and honestly, I'm pretty excited about that. I can imagine being able to choose between two servers based on feature set, with both servers cooperating fully, so I can talk to all my friends on all the servers, hah.

I am on their mailing list, but I never get any mail from them. If you ever get any new invites, I would like to try it. Thank you. I don't care about screening. How does it look to you?

It looks pretty clean. Not a lot of features, but they have the inter-server communication working to the point where I can add -- and talk to -- friends on different servers, which I enjoy :)

Am on their invite list and updates feed. *bounce* Hopefully I will qualify for an invite in the near future. Not in a hurry, since I'm operating off my netbook - trusty Linux laptop went and died, hardware announced it reached end of life, not the OS fault at all.
