Heeee, yes! I find I can knit and revise, but not knit and write at the same time. :) (And even then, only if it's very very plain knitting!)

Heh, it'd require memorizing the ASCII table and binary conversion, and probably making a very ugly knitted piece and some freaky computer vision but:

Knit = 1
Purl = 0

every time you do 8, it types the character.

I uh, wonder what that would actually LOOK like -- if you knit/purled some code in that manner.

Knitting and Perling. I can't recall if this one was knittable. Last year's knitting puzzle was, but it wasn't code-related.

That would be awesome. Would the different languages look different? Would python have cables, for instance?

*chuckle*

Some days, I wish I could just knit, plain and simple. My poor wee legwarmer is badly neglected.

Technically I can! Except I can't really knit anymore for the obvious reason. I knit this scarf for my sister over the course of about a year, one row or less at a time.

Mostly it comes in handy that I can code and pet the cat at the same time.
