A family friend, going through her new husband's freezer, found at the back of it in a ziploc bag, a dead hamster.
The truly horrifying thing for her was when she called my mother to complain and share the WTF, my mother's response was, "Oh! I remember when his first wife put that in there! Huh, that was 15 years ago; the hamster died and it was too hot to be going outside long enough to bury it."
It's probably possible to top that one for freezer WTF. I just sort of live in fear of someone doing it though.
