Next time: tweezers. You can still go way overboard, especially because you might get obsessive about making them perfect, but you're less likely to trip and lose half your face <3
I have a low threshold of pain for eyebrow threading, unfortunately! The last time I tried, I think I freaked out the person doing my eyebrows because I ended up hunkered down in my seat, practically sobbing.
Which is a shame, because I get damn good eyebrows from threading *G*
You're supposed to pluck an arch 3/4s of the way out from the inside corner of your eye.You can just Google it so I don't risk telling you the wrong way to go, but you have my sympathies...I've cut mine too short, shaved mine too short, and I constantly over-pluck and refuse to give my eyebrows a chance.
*rueful* I have done something quite similar /with/ tweezers; always pull back now and then to check your progress was my lesson. At least they grow back reasonably soon.
Hmm, IIRC it was a long time ago, and I'm not sure if it was your promise to me or my promise to you :)
Context was, I was asking you whether you were required to have a beard, and you said no. The reason that you didn't really shave / trim it that often was because it was a hassle. And then I volunteered :-)
Back in '00, I was engaged to a nasty piece of work. For one reason or another, I was Annoyed with him, and dealt with same by giving myself a haircut (as he particularly liked my lovely long hair).
The resulting half-shaved head was very Interesting, and while I rather liked the effect, I was wearing a hat at work for the duration.

Ai-ya, what a way to learn how to use the eyebrow pencil! Own it, and work it, as others have wisely said...and next time, DO KNIT.
