Haha I think we'd hear about who the teacher was that got pregnant! Yun ata yung umalis yung priest, but I don't think it was because of that. Probably got assigned somewhere else :))

Yeah, the corruption stories were rampant... but I don't really know if there's truth to them (although that swanky new principal's office was a bit suspicious XD)

The swanky new principal's office, yes! Also (and take this with a grain of salt, because my memories are a bit fuzzy as this happened so long ago), I managed to get a peek into the principal's room under, uh, whoever it was that got the admin office retiled, and I saw a marble floor, and a 20+ inch flatscreen TV. Which is no big deal now, but this was during the days when 15-inch tvs were pretty much the norm, and I think even 17-inch made people go "WOW", and di talaga uso ang flatscreen.

It really stuck in my mind because my parents recently got a 22-inch TV for their room, and I knew how much that cost (scarily expensive ;-)), and the one in the principal's room was even bigger than that!
