Waiting for you to pay attention to it, so it can complain about how long it took you to notice.

Do you like War and Peace? I'm reading The Waves by Virginia Woolf and was thinking of trying War and Peace next.

my life is steeped in literary analysis, so a recommendation that it is fun to read is what i like to hear.

I figured you didn't mean haha fun, just enjoyable. Some books are just too hard to get into.

I mentioned to my husband that I was thinking of reading War and Peace next and he says he wants to read it outloud to me! He has a great reading voice. We probably won't start right away, but I'm looking forward to it. It's been years since he read a novel to me.

I haven't ever re-read anything significant like Tolstoy, but I've heard that second readings can bring out different aspects. Nice.
