Almost poked myself in the eye with a DPN (literally, I have a small cut just below my left eye).

I think I just gained a great deal of respect for these here pointy sticks I'm holding in my handts...

*wince* Ouch! I definitely have a great deal of respect for the pointiness of knitting needles now. So glad she made it through okay!
