was down, back up again

Oh dear, I managed to sleep through the LJ blackout (well technically the SF blackout that led to the LJ data center going down, but eh.).

And I didn't really sleep through it all. I fell asleep at 5am, around the time that LJ went down, and then I woke up late and had to run errands before heading to work. By the time I got to work, it was lunch and then somehow, miraculously it was after lunch and LJ was back up.

I didn't even get the chance to refresh unnecessarily :-(

There was a blackout? *is so terribly out of touch* I haven't logged on in a while and have also been getting some really late e-mail notifications. *sadface* But seeing as some people are fussing over the blackout thing, perhaps my recent out-of-touchness isn't a bad thng after all. (Although I also sadface about missing the chance to refresh unnecessarily. D: How can I be a proper lj-er if I don't get to experience these things. *pout*)

There was! It hit San Francisco, and took down a bunch of sites including LJ.
