(no subject)

Drove home from my grandpa's condo tonight :D Normally it's my brother who drives, but he's having some temporary issues that make night driving uncomfortable, so I volunteered to do it instead.

I hate driving with a passion! I hate night driving with even more passion! I'm terrified that I'll hit someone/something, so I tend to overcompensate and drive too slowly or slow down too much to be sure I have enough space. Having my brother in the passenger's seat really helped me :)

He was very patient in reassuring me that yes there was enough space, no I wouldn't hit that thing on my right, yes the lanes are wide enough and etc. I have a slight headache from the way my shoulders tense when I drive, but I picked up a lot tonight.

I may even find driving less stressful next time, who knows? (I certainly hope so *g*)
