Yesterday, I used three emoticons -- one on Twitter, one on IRC (both I caught just after I hit enter), and one in an LJ comment (deliberate, because it was a new person and it felt so rude not to reciprocate).

They got the better of me yesterday *fistshake*

But so far today, I haven't used any.
