I miss vacation!

I really love what I do, but we had a week and a half long break for the end of year holidays and my personal creativity exploded in that time period. Tackled multiple projects, learned new things, organized several disaster areas.

And now it's back to work and I can tell that I'm too tired to maintain the previous level of explosion and it makes me a little sad.

My sympathies. It is is so frustrating. I hope your first week back (and on) treat you a little kindly.

vacation is supposed to recharge you and instead it just makes me sad that work exists. And I love my job! But still.

Yes exactly! I could absolutely use another week or more (and I can tell how small my ambitions are right now I'm thinking a week not a month or a year haaah)
