One of my favorite parts of hongkong are shops like these :) have childhood memories of my grandma bringing me to shops like these during the one summer I spent with my grandparents in HK, the smell of incense hanging in the air...

My other favorite part are the market stalls but I felt embarrassed to whip out my phone and take a photo of everyone going about their daily business :)

This is the Hong Kong I like maybe even better than the modern shopping malls (though those are fun, too).

One of my best memories of Hong Kong is buying siomai from a street vendor. That stuff was delicious - we bought two more sets to take back to the hotel for a midnight snack. *grin*
