So uh my sister bought a roast turkey for dinner and had it carved in the kitchen. After we are the oddly dry meat, we found out there was all this stuffing thing left nthe kitchen? And it wasnt dry? I don't even know /o\

Cranberry sauce was great though :)

ok, I suppose it's too late mow to air the theory proposed by some, that it's the stuffing that makes eating the turkey worthwhile. *covers face*

give me a roast goose with crackling skin over turkey, any day. *dreams of HK resto where I was introduced to this favorite nommage*

Sounds about right; the leading cause of dryness in stuffed birds is that the stuffing sucks all the moisture out of the meat. Making it alongside is often a better plan (and often a safer one as well, as stuffing the bird also makes it take a lot longer to cook fully, which in turn makes the meat even drier...).
