I accidentally stepped on a lizard on my bathroom floor with my bare feet.

I feel like a horrible person right now :(

All you can do is make sure the wee thing is out of its misery. :( The other night I went out with some garbage and stepped on a snail with my bare foot and just ruined it, but I saw it still moving, so I thought it best to pick it all up and flush it down the toilet quickly to keep it from sufferin a long time. I'm the kind of person who will pick worms and snails up and move them, and I know what you mean by the lizards as they have the little ones in the house like that in Hawaii too. :/

Sometimes we have to forgive ourselves for not being perfect. It is an awful feeling doing something by accident, but you have no need to feel bad for doing it.

Eek, yeah :( Poor little thing, I'm glad that you were able to put it out of its misery. Mine wasn't moving after, so I just wrapped it up in a tissue...

*cuddles* Awwww, my sympathies to the two of you! I trust the wee thing was put swiftly out of its misery and that you have recovered from the accident.

Had it been me, I know I would also have made the rubbing alcohol manufacturer very happy by the amount I would have used on my foot after dispatching the little lizard.

I felt so guuuilty. but accidents and it was thankfully brief for the poor thing so! I am recovered now, but will be keeping a closer eye on where I'm about to step.
