Date: 2007-11-23 05:14 am (UTC)Eventually, make the script work similarly to the pop up one, but with a different selection of options for those of us who tend to use the inbox/IMs instead of email for most entry tracking.

Date: 2007-11-23 05:29 am (UTC)Ajax thing = awesome but limited and does not meet my needs.
GM script = awesomer but Fu should slave away at being even better.

Date: 2007-11-23 06:04 am (UTC)However, my original idea was simply to move the default selected item in the dropdown depending on which category you're currently viewing, so the layout would still be familiar; you'd just be in the same general area. (It was the conversation in IRC which made me think of doing the heavier job of filtering.)
Any preference? :)

Date: 2007-11-23 06:07 am (UTC)synedit script
Date: 2007-11-23 06:08 am (UTC)I'd add in some actual etcs, but I haven't figured out how to make the script and my habits mesh, so it's not currently activated and I have no personal suggestions.
Re: synedit script
Date: 2007-11-23 06:28 am (UTC)Short story: I dislike access keys for various reasons, most of which I don't even remember. The best option for me are text-based non-duplicated links. Then I can do a search within the links and select my option that way.
(At work, there are certain admin pages of their existing CMS that I use regularly. The submit button is an image, which means I'd have to use my mouse. Thankfully, it's the same javascript submit command across 14 different subsections, which means I just programmed a keyword shortcut and use that.)
BED. Seriously, bed. Sorry. <3

Date: 2007-11-25 08:13 am (UTC)I haven't been paying enough attention, but I think that since I've installed the filter by tag script, sometimes the Request Status Tracker gets stuck.
