Hmm, I don't know. I do know that youtube has the extended URL thing that lets you jump straight to a timecode, but I don't know if that would require reloading the video or what.
There's also the issue of mismatch of internet speeds to think about! As happened to us, one person could have everything loaded, and the other person could have only half loaded, and you'd need to be pausing and stuff through it...
