-15 C isn't too bad..but obviously my experience with cold differs from yours. :P I would say don't worry about frostbite unless you have sensitive skin/other cold issues other than climate shock. Going from guoyin+trad. to pinyin+simplified is going to be hard, though. Let me know if you need any help w/ the latter, though my character-recognition and recall sucks.
