First day is a good day

First of all: hotel has free wifi in the guest rooms. This immediately puts it head and shoulders above most it the other places I've stayed in.

Second of all I must remember to file a bug to fix the new create entries page in celerity on a mobile phone.

Third of all I
dreamt last night that I overslept and missed Wicked so I have been on edge the whole day but I didn't oversleep and I did enjoy the play a lot. So did my sister who keeps telling me she's not a play watching person. Yes!

We lucked into a free seat upgrade which meant we were close enough to see the actors' facial expressions clearly and man my heart just melted and I'm still wobbly thinking about it. The costumes were awesome I want some of their hats. Also the play totally makes more sense now. I've heard the individual songs lots of times but there are several key plot points that only take place in dialogue or with physical action -- such as how Elphaba and Galinda became friends.

Female friendship story!!!! With political consequences!!!!!! I'm just all exclamation points here okay?


I do wish somewhere out there is fix rewriting Nessa's backstory (or even entire subplot) in this rewrite of the wizard of oz's backstory. It just is really cliched and strikes all the wrong notes okay?


But maaaan. I am on such a high right now.
