(no subject)

Today is a day for adding friends. (So today is a day for choosing colors). Only the fact that you guys are awesome lets me overcome my natural shyness. (Nobody ever believes me when I say that I'm scared of meeting new people ;) Just because I'm occasionally loud! And use exclamation points! What?)

I'm planning on cleaning up my journal at some point. At some point = when I'm not distracted by new shiny = effectively never. My journal is as messy as my room, which means that I know where everything is (sort of), how everything is (sort of), and I probably won't get lost (as long as I don't dig too deep).

I think I need to clean out my room as well. My notebooks from first year high school are still beside my bed, because I might some day need a step by step guide to copy-pasting in MS Word ("click the left mouse button just before your desired text to be selected" "hold down the button and drag to the end of..." "let go of the mouse button" "Open the edit menu. Click." "Find the copy command..." -- I hated those instructions for much the same reason I hated our typing class. They took the actions that I didn't need to think about, and made them feel stiff and unnatural. Detailed instructions for copy paste! Seriously.)

My side of the room is embarrassing right now, much more so because my sister has recently started bringing a close friend (beyond a close friend?) to our room late at night when I'm in my pajamas :-( Although I walk around in pajamas all day during weekends, I only do that when there are no visitors. Having a strange guy in our room when my room is messy (though it's always messy) and I'm not really decent makes me uncomfortable.

So basically, today is a day for adding friends and also a day for thinking about planning to organize my journal and clean up my room.
