Day 4: Dreamwidth diversity statement

Here's one of my favorite lines from Dreamwidth's diversity statement.

Focus today is on letterforms and consistency across the entire text, with minimal flourishes or fancy layout. This is the second attempt where I've tried to keep my hand looser, first attempt was more sloppy.

Written using Brause nib 2mm with winsor & newton sepia on a light purple sheet of paper. (I think the purple might not be showing up very well though)

My eyes landed on the word "sexual" first, and I just tingled. The way you wrote that word is delicious, beautiful, sexy. I want to taste it it's so good. Mmmmm.

That is beautiful penmanship, in the old-fashioned sense of the word. Cursive writing was born from such, I think.

Thank you :D There's a whole 'nother set of skills that go into truly beautiful cursive writing, but I hope to be able to get those toooo.

(I find it hilarious that I'm doing this, really, since I was known in school as one of the girls with the worst penmanship *g*)
