I do this a lot, too. Which is why one of the few bits of make-up I wear from time to time is brow pencil....

Ditto. I get my eyebrows threaded instead. Then someone (who is not me) decides what looks nice and makes my face all purdy without the ouch.

I have a low threshold of pain for eyebrow threading, unfortunately! The last time I tried, I think I freaked out the person doing my eyebrows because I ended up hunkered down in my seat, practically sobbing.

Which is a shame, because I get damn good eyebrows from threading *G*

You're supposed to pluck an arch 3/4s of the way out from the inside corner of your eye.You can just Google it so I don't risk telling you the wrong way to go, but you have my sympathies...I've cut mine too short, shaved mine too short, and I constantly over-pluck and refuse to give my eyebrows a chance.
