I reckon all the presidents since Marcos have had uprisings... Cory's was the worse, since that was military led right? I mean, a real coup.

The Trillanes/Oakwood thing in GMA's era seem... tame by comparison.

Erap had EDSA 2, and Ramos... well, I can't recall now, but with all those brownouts and such, there probably was something? :o

Hmm. I think so, though I don't really remember much of Cory's. Mostly I remember brownouts, and how they were associated with coups, but I don't know if that was Cory's time or Ramos' time.

I've been thinking about it lately. You can say many things about Philippine politics, but you can't say that it's boring :-)
