Knitting by numbers

I just tried to find a knitted representation of prime numbers. Found one, but I think I'll try a different approach. I wont to see if I'll get anything interesting by switching colors and increasing stitches on every prime-numbered row, using only two colors. Still trying to decide what to use -- probably the cheap crochet yarn, as that's the only matching ones I have right now with different solid colors *g*

As a bonus, I found a Fibonacci scarf. Really cool!

A Fibonacci scarf should be made from three colours though. Sheesh.

My particular interest in knitting came about because a bunch of my friends were into it, and I gradually grew interested listening to them talk.

But I think I was actively looking for something new, because I felt stuck in a rut as well!

oh... you have friends... so that's my problem - no, just kidding. but i think my friends are so diverse that not a one would be doing the same thing as another. i honestly don't know why i'm the common thread amongst them, though maybe it's because i'm interested in so many different things (but actually do very little).

hmm, i have a friend who is always coming up with a new idea of something we should do together and before i can even think about whether i want to or not she has come up with a new idea. maybe i should slow her down and choose one of her ideas and make her run with it with me.
