Struck with the sudden desire to watch DS9 (especially since I lost my access to regular episodes around the time the dominion arc started getting good so I've never seen the end)

But it's a case of too many episodes too little time. Anyone able to recommend a good episode watching guide?

I tried googling but there are a lot of lists and I can't tell which are any good! Suspect someone here knows my pain :3

It's very arc based, as Woggy said.

I'd just start the whole thing over and watch it all, if you can.

Hehe yes okay thanks. I was hoping to skip the fillers (which I knew there were some) but I'll figure it out thanks !

Season 1 in particular is a lot wobbly, in large part because they were still figuring out how to make it Not TNG (and not always succeeding - there's four or five episodes, at least, that are Let's Have A TNG Guest Star) . I generally start my rewatches around 2x20, and the character of the show changes a lot in S3 when they acquire the Defiant.

That said, 1x19 (Duet) is AMAZING.

Ooh thanks. I was going to do a rewatch of the whole series but with thought towards making sure I have enough steam (and free time) to finally make it to the end!
